Must-Have Eufora Products for Summer!
Between the heat of the sun, the humidity, salt water and chlorine, the summertime here in Burlington takes a toll on our hair! Whether you suffer from frizz, dryness or limp hair in the summer, these Eufora products will have you covered.
Illuminate Shine Mist.
Illuminate is a great lightweight, detangling mist that adds a healthy shine to the hair. The ingredients moisturize and help to filter the rays from the sweltering, hot summer sun! It can be liberally applied to wet hair for extra detangling help or lightly misted on dry hair for a beautiful shine to your finished style.
Sea Spritz.
Sea Spritz is a sea salt spray used to give beachy texture to fine/ limp hair and hair with natural wave and curl. Spritz liberally through wet hair, scrunch and let dry naturally to mimic the tousled, beachy effect the ocean gives your hair! Most sea salt sprays are made primarily of sea salt and water which tend to dry out the hair quite a bit. Sea Spritz is made with Epsom salts, green tea, algae, glycerin and essential oils to moisturize the hair and also provide sun protection.
Smooth’n Straightening Balm.
This is a holy grail product for my frizzy- haired friends! Use a quarter to tooney sized dollop (depending on how much hair you have) and work through towel dried hair before blow-drying your hair with your favourite round brush. This product will give you frizz control during your styling process and it seals the hair cuticle (outermost layer of the hair) which will keep the humidity- induced frizz at bay all day! For curly hair, I recommend adding a quarter size of this to your curl enhancing mousse/ cream such as Eufora Curl’n Defining Solution to add more smoothness and shine to your curls.
Nourish Urgent Repair Shampoo & Treatment.
As we all know, chlorine and salt water can wreak havoc on your hair during the summer months. Urgent Repair Shampoo is a gentle and restorative clarifying shampoo which removes build up on the hair caused by chlorine, salt water or even just air pollution. Urgent Repair Treatment is great for soothing dry hair and scalp and itchy skin irritations. Also,a small amount can be used to rub on the chest during a common cold and also on the temples to soothe a headache. You can use Urgent Repair Treatment as a hair and scalp treatment once a week for 15 minutes on wet hair or you can use it as a regular conditioner and leave it on for 3-5 minutes.
Tame.
Tame is my favourite hairspray during the summer months! It is great for taming down frizz post- blowout or for giving a flexible hold to a hairstyle. The nice thing about Tame is that your hair is still soft and movable after using it. You can brush it through and re-style it the next day instead of having to wash your hair again. One more bonus: it has sun protection against UVA and UVB exposure so it protects your hair colour from fading from the sun!
